"Fizz Boom Read"
Read-To-Me 2014

The Ligonier Valley Library invites all of our preschoolers and their families to participate in our Read-To-Me Program!

Read-To-Me encourages kids and adults to spend time reading together.

Children may be read to by a parent, grandparent, babysitter or even a sibling - this is a great way for Summer Reading Club aged kids to acquire minutes while at the same time helping out their younger sibling or siblings!

An adult should help the child keep track of his or her reading minutes and turn them in each week.

Registration for Preschool Storyhour is already underway! Stop by or call the library at 724-238-6451 to sign up for either the 10:30 am or 1:30 pm session that will be held on Wednesdays beginning June 25 and ending August 6.

Preschool Storyhour for children ages three to five will be from June 26 to August 14, 2014. Registration is required and will begin soon. Classes are Wednesdays in the morning from 10:30 - 11:30 am or afternoon from 1:30 - 2:30 pm.

Each class is designed to promote the wonderful world of books through the use of stories, songs, finger plays, and games that center on a special theme. Stretching exercises are done halfway through each class, and a simple craft project is completed each week to be taken home.

If you need more information, then please stop by the library or call 724-238-6451.
All programs are free.
