Ligonier Valley Library Service Update
The Ligonier Valley Library is open for patrons to browse the stacks, use computers, use the copier/scanner/fax machine, and even sit for a spell and enjoy the library.
Everyone, age 3 and older, is required to wear a mask that covers both mouth and nose for their entire stay inside the library - even if not near others (no mask = no service). We encourage patrons and visitors to limit their time to thirty minutes. If you should need to stay longer, ask at the circulation desk for assistance. You may return after taking a breather outside.
The Pennsylvania Room is available to a limited the number of people at one time. Please either make an appointment or ask at the main circulation desk for assistance. If you need to speak with the Pa Room archivist, please call the library at 724-238-6451 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Patrons may return borrowed items through either the 'book returns' slot at the main circulation desk or the outside drop box located near the main entrance (on the other side of the pillar). Returned items go into a 48 hour quarantine at the end of business that same day. Items are checked after that 48 hour period. Currently, items that are not on reserve for another patron are being automatically renewed. Most fines are being waived.
Access the library collection, Flipster Digital Magazines, OverDrive eBooks and downloadable audiobooks, and research databases (including HeritageQuest and Newspapers) via our website. If you need assistance, please call the library at 724-238-6451 or email us at email@example.com.
