As a Member of the Ligonier Valley Library Association, you may vote for any or all of the named individuals below. Please submit your vote by 4:00 pm on Friday, January 6, 2023.

Results of the re/election will be announced at the Board of Trustees Annual Reorginization Meeting in January and posted to this page the week of January 9th. This year, Associates of the Library will vote on three Trustee positions. You may vote for any or all of the individuals. Candidates are nominated by the current Board of Trustees.

Candidates & Biographies for the Board of Trustees

Hannah Seibel:

Hannah lives in Ligonier borough with her son who attends The Valley School. She earned her Bachelors of Exercise Science and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Chatham University. She is the clinic director and treating physical therapist at NovaCare Rehabilitation of Ligonier. Prior to her outpatient physical therapy work she had been the lead physical therapist at John J. Kane Skilled Nursing Facility where she was able to make an impact working with underserved populations. She has enjoyed volunteer opportunities within the Ligonier and surrounding community including sponsoring and supporting local runners and races, as well as coaching a Ligonier Youth Baseball and Softball Association's Rookie League team. She has been a past participant in the Ligonier Community Garden, is a current member of Holy Trinity Church and the Ligonier Valley Chamber of Commerce. Hannah enjoys running and practicing sports with her son, art and music, travel, and the outdoors.

Mariah Fisher:

Mariah is a mother of two who has lived in the Ligonier Valley for much of her life. With deep family roots in Ligonier, she grew up learning the meaning of service and being active in your community. She currently runs her own small business, Mariah Fisher Photography, a wedding and portrait photography business, serving the Ligonier community and beyond. She completed her undergraduate studies at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, where she majored in Sociology and graduated with honors. She was elected to the Ligonier Borough Council in 2017 and is currently serving her second term as Vice President. She has also served as the Chair of the Parks and Recreation Committee and Chair of the Finance Committee which was able to balance the budget without increasing taxes. As a member of the Public Safety Committee, in 2019, she worked closely with our chief of police to establish and plan Ligonier’s first National Night Out. The event encouraged residents to spend the evening getting to know our first responders, the Ligonier Police Department and our four local volunteer fire companies. She submitted the event to the National Night Out Organization and received an award for ‘Rookies of the Year’ for having one of the best first-time events nationwide.

Rebecca Krzmarzick:

Rebecca lives in Ligonier with her husband and two young children. She is an adjunct professor of theology and liberal arts at Saint Vincent College and Seton Hill University. She grew up in Ligonier, and prior to moving back to Ligonier in 2020, she taught at private high schools in Boston and Cleveland. In addition to teaching, she enjoys reading, baking, paper crafting, and writes about motherhood at LightUpMoms.com.
