Volunteer

We are excited to expand our volunteer program! We are looking for reliable members to help us better serve our community. We value the gift of your time and talents to share with our patrons.

Current volunteer opportunities:

• Facilitate a library program - For example: run a book club, host a crafting hour, etc. (the possibilities are endless!)

• Hold a presentation or workshop - Do you have a topic that you are particularly knowlegeable about, or a skill you can teach others? Share your talent with the community!

• Help with the seed library - We need people who are knowledgable/ interested in gardening!

• Shelve books/ shelf read (make sure books/ materials are in the correct place)

• Decorate the library for various occasions

We expect that volunteer interest will outpace the amount of available volunteer opportunities.  Please note that completing an application does not guarantee acceptance into the volunteer program.

Teen Volunteers (Patrons ages 12-17):

• Fill out Teen Volunteer Application
• Teens interested in completing various hours or in the Teen Advisory Board will fill out the same application.
• 18 year olds must have clearances after graduation in May.

Adults interested in volunteering for the Youth Services department:

• Fill out this Microsoft form. You will need up-to-date clearances before we can begin talking about placement.
