This I Believe

This I Believe is being rescheduled to a later date, check back for details.
Led by Jim Busch of the Ligonier Valley Writers, This I Believe is inspired by the 1950's radio broadcast hosted by journalist Edward R. Murrow of the same name. The show asked people from all walks of life to discuss their "guiding principles by which they lived". Murrow hosted a variety of guests, both famous names we would recognize such as Eleanor Roosevelt and Jackie Robinson as well as everyday teachers, businessmen, authors, and more. Mr. Busch will go into detail regarding the This I Believe broadcasts, and lead attendees in some writing excersises inspired by the program.
This program will be in coordination with our Day for Writers event, during which writers are encouraged to come to the library and use it as a quiet workspace.
