Tech Class - Learn How to Download and Use Libby
Have you thought about borrowing eBooks or downloadable audiobooks, but were not sure where to start? Have you tried to borrow digital materials, but not had success? Register and join Gina McGrath on Tuesday, June 7 from 5:30 to 7:30 PM at the Ligonier Valley Library for our "Learn How to Download and Use Libby" class. Gina will walk everyone through the various features the app offers.
Registration is required. Seating is limited. To register, stop in or call the Ligonier Valley Library at 724-238-6451.
On the day of the class, please bring your up-to-date Westmoreland Library Network (WLN) library card1 as well as your fully charged smartphone, tablet, or computer.
Not sure what Libby is? Libby is an app that you can easily find and download from Google Play or the Apple Store free to your device. The app enables you to borrow eBooks and downloadable audiobooks, and use fun Extras2 free from your public library.
Gina McGrath was an IT Director and instructor for over 23 years. She makes you very comfortable with technology and teaches on your level. You will be at ease to ask questions knowing that she will answer them in a language that you will understand.
1If you have not used your WLN library card in a while, please stop by the Ligonier Valley Library before the class and ask staff to verify that all is good. If you do not have a WLN library card, then please stop in before class and register for one – bring a current photo ID and proof of address (a driver’s license will suffice).
